I really like these headboard. Purchase 2 of them for Grandkids room. The first one took about 3 hours putting together, but the second one was less time.i didn’t put up the lightning strips but o love the outlets and don’t have to move the bed to plug in their electronics. Great price and sturdy.

Not super hard to assemble just takes a long time if your doing it by yourself. I do wish that the top was a little wider.

I am experienced at putting together RTA furniture, but this item has complexities in maneuvering the pieces where you can sure use help. Nonetheless, I was able to put it together to my satisfaction and everything works. The instructions say to not tighten screws right away, and that caused me some problems as I would forget to tighten them after I had everything together at various stages. My advice: tighten the screws as soon as you have completed what's on a single page, then move on. Also, I had some trouble lining up the LED strips. The funny looking angle on two of the pieces of wood are that way to allow the long LED strip to go through from one end to the other. So it might help if you have someone who can hold the pieces together while you make sure the LED strip won't get pinched when everything is screwed in place. Also, I started feeling a bit crosseyed by the time I got to the end because some of the last pictures aren't as clear on what pieces go where. If you have time and vision problems, I would recommend getting the instructions blown up to 8.5 x 11 size so you can read the details more easily. Otherwise, it's a decent unit for the size and I'm very pleased with it. I don't have a regular bed frame, so it's resting unattached between the bed and the wall and heavy enough it won't go anyplace.
