I had a Quest 2 and got an extended battery for it. What a game changer! Then I got the Quest 3, so when I saw this extended battery come up, I jumped at the opportunity. It snaps into place easily and plugs in nicely with the included short usb C cord. I put it on and it super comfortable! Especially when combined with the upgraded comfort aftermarket face part that I have, this thing is wonderful now! This is a lot like the one I had for my 2, as this one also extends play for hours. A nice bonus of this battery pack design is that in case I want to temporarily take my Quest off to be able to see normally, it has a hinge built in that allows me to rotate my goggles up so I can keep them on my head, yet have my regular sight back. Nice!Did I mention that it's super comfortable? 5 big stars!

I have two quests, my other one has the elite strap from Meta, for comparison. This headset strap is equally as comfortable and easy to set up. It comes with attachments for both the quest 2 and 3. It fits well and relieves that frontal pressure just like the meta elite strap. So comfort gets an A+. It also seems well made and durable. However I do find it confusing that it doesn't show the battery life of both the headset and strap on the opening screen like the elite does. It only shows the headset battery. The strap does have 4 blue lights that I assume indicate charge though, so maybe that's it. The headset light also stays green when powered down. That makes me feel like battery is being drained for that. Kind of strange little quarks, but all in all, a good substitute for the elite strap and a good value.

This is a great upgrade for my MetaQuest2. So much easier to use, to adjust, to trade off the headset between myself and my daughters. I loathed the struggle that should've been a simple swap between the 3 of us, but no more. That problem is solved, and it also makes the headset feel me comfortable while wearing. Kinda acts as a counterbalance to the weight of the headset. Attaching it to the headset was simple enough and probably took around 10-15 minutes. The extra battery capacity/playtime is also a big plus. The strap across the top of the head is padded and soft and the rear pad cradles the back of your head. This is the way Meta should've designed it in the first place. If you use your VR headset much, this is a must have.

You don’t know how much you needed this upgrade until you get it.I always thought the original strap was fine. But some days it was too tight or too loose and the white fabric got dingy from use. The worst part of the Quest factory headstrap was my headset would constantly slide down my face and sit heavy on my nose.I thought that was just normal and dealt with it.But after using this MV1000 adjustable headstrap, the quest sits so comfortably on my face. I don’t have a problem with the oculus sliding down my face and sitting on my nose.I would recommend this to anyone with a Quest 2 or Quest 3.It came in the box set up for a Quest 3, but has the parts you need to swap for the Quest 2. It comes with everything you need. You don’t need to buy anything else.It took me about 3 minutes to swap the Quest 2 white pieces (and they’re clearly labeled 2L and 2R).It took me about 2 minutes to assemble it and install it. Super fast and easy. It’s adjustable by turning the knob in the back to tighten or loosen and because the band is solid, you can actually tilt the Quest unit up or down. I couldn’t do that with the soft strap. Makes it more comfortable. The best part is how the black cup sits on the back of your head and it just feels like all the weight is distributed equally. And it’s way more secure if you’re moving around. The only drawback I can see, is that it doesn’t fit in my Quest travel case anymore, but that’s the fault of the case manufacturer. I can still zip it up half way.So, if you still have the soft dingy white elastic strap that came with your Quest, then you need this upgrade before anything else you buy!
