Instructions about The HDTV Component Cable

  1. Connect the 5 heads (1 green, 1 white, 1 blue, 2 red) by color and then connect them to the PSP line control interface (use the TV remote control to adjust the corresponding video output)
  2. When the PSP is turned on, the third item (Component or D-Terminal) in (External Display Settings) can be adjusted to (3000 machine selects interlaced scan, 2000 machine selects progressive scan)
  3. Then click the first item (Switch Image Output) and select (Yes). If OK, the PSP machine is the same as the shutdown state, but the green light is on. The TV shows the PSP initial menu screen!

  • The cable supports PSP3000/2000 to output the actual game/video screen on TV devices with color difference interfaces (LCD, rear projection, CRT TVs). The best effect is still used on TVs that support progressive scanning.
  • The TV must support progressive scanning, and the cable can output the game screen on the TV.
  • The output signal of the game is 480P (resolution is 720X480), and the TV screen ratio can be selected as 4:3 or 16:9. No matter what resolution, there will be black edges around the screen.
  • The output resolution of the video file can reach 720×480, while the output resolution of the game screen is 480×272, because the LCD screen resolution of PSP is 480×272.
  • After the PSP is connected to the TV by color using the color difference cable, the TV switches to the component input (if the picture is not right, you can try to switch to another input). After the connection is successful, the PSP screen will be black, and the PSP screen content will be displayed on the TV, but the operation still needs to be operated through the PSP.
