I can tell a difference when it acts right, but for some reason it Flickers on and off during Game play. If anyone else is experiencing this I will gladly take some advice on how to fix.

I bought this for a modded xbox and what happens on my hisense tv is the picture flickers on and off and makes it unplayable. It works on my old LG with component cables but on this TV with this cable it is unplayable which makes it so I need the console downstairs on my older TV with component.

Da buen desempeño para las tv con HDMI, pero si lo usarás para streaming parece no ser compatible.

Too many retro consoles so I use this with an HDMI splitter going so it only uses one hdmi port on the TV. this works great and the output is 1080i. Good enough!

Before this i has a cheap Walmart brand converter, the image was always blurry. Now with this, it's really crisp and colorful. They did a great job making this product. 5/5 for sure.

I really wasn't expecting much from this converter since it's tons of them like this on this site with very MIXED/DISAPPOINTING results. But since I had this for a couple days now,I can say I'm very happy with my purchase. Its a major step up in image(does not upsample, just simulates a component pass though via HDMI signal) quality compare to the standard composite cable that comes with the console.I also like the fact that it doesn't need any external power for it to operate. If you are looking to improve the picture quality of you original Xbox for you brand new 4k TV,then this may be the right solution.Hopefully it lasts though.

The cheap components I was using would have some faint diagonal green lines on part of the image that admittedly was only really obvious on a black screen, and also the colors looked a bit washed out in comparison. I haven't used any other HDMI converters for this console, and I haven't played any games that really would make latency apparent, so I can't really speak to that. The only game I've played was Lord of the Rings the Two Towers, and from the bit I played it I didn't readily notice any lag compared to the component cables, although I know there is a bit of lag in the signal chain because the Xbox is connected to an HDMI switch which does introduce a slight amount of lag that I do notice when playing Guitar Hero on PS2. But without having compared this to a more established and expensive competitor product, I can say that this product does appear to offer great signal quality and little if any lag.

I like everything about it, and it works without any issues. I would even dare say that it is perfect.Prior to purchase, I was concerned about the power draw since it does not require a separate power source. I thought that perhaps the extra draw might impose issues on the Xbox motherboard or something. After doing some research and after buying and using it myself, I've concluded that my I was merely being a paranoid. In fact, I bought this to replace a faulty USB-powered converter that probably got overloaded.
