Not all pen turning mechanisms work smoothly. The ones that did work great.

12 pen kits ( 3 of each color - Black. Silver, Gold and Rose Gold). The quality seems on par with the set that I get from several woodworking stores both local and online but at a much more reasonable price. the mechanisms operate easily and the ink refills write smoothly. I really like the looks of the center rings, the grooves have more character than just a smooth ring. Keep in mind that you will need a 7mm drill bit as one is not supplied with these kits.

In my opinion, trim line pens offer a premium looks as compared to other pen kits. These kits offer chromatic shiny surface that speak "fancy". They run a true 7mm and fit together with proper sized and careful clamping. The value is great for a kit of this quality. I recommend
