Very nice. Quite heavy, though.

These are nice salad/pasta bowls. They are heavy ceramic and a good size. A little bulky in the dishwasher, but all in all, they're nice bowls. I did feel they are over priced at approx. 27.00 for two, but after doing some comparing, it seems the cost is just about right. I would order them again, but maybe wait for them to be on sale.

Excellent Pasta Bowls - Sturdy, Versatile, and Well-SizedThese pasta bowls are excellent for everyday use. The sturdy, well-glazed ceramic material is durable, and the 8-inch size is ideal for pasta, salads, stir-fries, and more. The bowls are designed with steep sides to prevent spills and are conveniently stackable for space-saving storage. They are also microwave, dishwasher, oven, and refrigerator safe, adding to their versatility and ease of use.

These pasta bowls are great for any meal, and the ribbed design adds a lovely touch of style. They're excellent both in quality and function. The size is just right for healthy portions as well. Unlike with flat plates, sauces are well contained, making family meals less prone to spill overs. Everyone's opinion may vary on appearance, but the understated simple design and color makes this set blend well with most esthetics, from farmhouse to modern chic, allowing you to incorporate it into your current crockery without the need to purchase an entire new dinnerware set. With that said, this brand does offer quite a few matching items, so the choice is yours. These bowls, however, are nice enough to stand on their own and, if this is something new to you, you may find yourself wondering why you didn't own pasta bowls sooner. They're just so handy to have around.

These are nice, heavy-duty pasta bowls. They seem very sturdy and are basically consistent with the quality of bowls that one sees utilized in nicer pasta restaurants. Their heavy thick-walled ceramic construction allows the ceramic bowls to retain heat more effectively. They definitely add an aura of distinction and class, to whatever one is serving. I have waited to review these bowls until I was able to properly utilize them in both spaghetti and for a meal of lasagna. Two of my favorites. These bowls arrive heavily protected so there should be little fear of damage in transit. They are very well protected against damage due to the manner of protective shipping. The ribbed appearance is an attractive feature, and they are dishwasher safe. They are likewise said to be safe for baking as well, though I did not utilize them for my food prep as, when I make spaghetti or lasagna, I tend to make quite a large batch, so as to reheat several meals from the same food preparation. It does occur to me that these bowls would be an excellent choice in serving rice pilaf as well as pasta. I am sure that there are other dishes that would be elegantly served in these dishes, however it is simply one that occurred to me as I was serving the lasagna. This set of two pasta bowls makes for an elegant setting that is both classic and timeless in its elegance. I would heartily recommend them for anyone who is seeking a set of pasta bowls and who wants to make a classic presentation. They are visually appealing, and the fact that they seem of fine restaurant quality is an added benefit. I do not believe that anyone who purchases them will be disappointed in any way.

When I think pasta bowl, I think big and deep. This is a diet pasta bowl. Beyond the size, there are some good things, and some bad.Pros:SHAPE: The steep sides are perfect. The rim making the bowl more attractive and easier to handle.COLOR: Pure white with no gray or yellow undertone. Although not matte, the white is not glossy.STACKABLE: If two dishes can be called a stack :)Cons:NUMBER: You get TWO, not four as the photo suggests.IMPERFECT: There are some odd black dots inside the glaze.NO HALLMARK: There is no 'safe for oven, microwave, dishwasher', manufacturer mark or country of origin on the bottom of the bowl.My suggestion, consider how much you like to eat and what you eat. For me, this bowl works for a lunch salad, but not a dinner chef salad. Although it would sit beautifully on a dinner plate for your starter salad. For daily use, it also doesn't work for pasta, I need maneuver room. It isn't quite deep enough for a Buddha bowl or soup. But that is me and how I prefer to eat. :) Recommend with some reservation.

We love, love, love pasta bowls in our household for everything from pasta to salad, fried rice, noodles, gumbo, and more…so incredibly versatile. These Hasense pasta bowls came in a set of 2, I selected the white colorway, and in person they look pretty nice. Their 8-inch size is a tad smaller than my other styles of pasta bowls (see pics, this Hasense bowl is on the left side, one of my other bowls is on the right side), not a major deal, but that extra bit of space in my other bowls does make a difference in their overall usability. The white is a basic white, no undertones and I prefer that; they blend with my other dishware that is eclectic but with a common thread of crisp/basic white running throughout. They’re ceramic bowls, and a 1.7 inch depth typical of pasta bowl designs. The ceramic polish however is *really* glossy and shiny which makes them look *less* chic in my personal opinion. Nonetheless, they seem quality made with a solid weight and the corrugated design around the exterior is a modern looking aspect. They’ll indeed get some periodic use in our home; they’re dishwasher, freezer, microwave and oven safe (though there’s no mention of the maximum oven temp; I’d keep it below 300-350 degrees as a general precaution without confirming the recommended max with the manufacturer). There also appear to be other coordinating pieces in this design style if wanting to build out a full set.
