I had to write a review as a long time PC gamer and PC enthusiast. I have always preferred a hard and consistent mouse surface. I was tired of the plastic versions warping and being huge. I like high sensitivity on my mouse and have it seems like all of the mouse pads that had the right surface were huge! This mouse pad is attractive, small and rigid. All of the things I have looked for in a mouse. It's a gem and I'm glad I found it!

Great build quality. Do research before going from a fabric pad to metal. The noise level is something else! This version has 2 sides so I am using the fake leather side and the mouse tracking seem fine. I would return, but its on me for not realizing how loud and how different the mouse feels on metal.

There are 2 different sides you can use: a hard metal side and a softer (but still rigidly hard) pleather side. They include stickers for your mouse if there's too much noise and rubber foot stickers for the mouse pad to reduce slipping on your table. The pad has a decent amount of weight to it, like it could do some real damage if you threw it at something.I found myself using the pleather side so I don't have to modify anything with stickers and have the hard pad on top of my old mouse pad (the 3 foot wide type that also goes under my keyboard), which seems to keep the new mouse pad in place. I've noticed a difference going from my cloth type mouse pad to the rigid one almost immediately (i had occasional, random jitter issues) with my laser mouse.So far, great product at a great price.

Wanna know why a cat and a mouse are mortal enemies? It's because of the cat fur!Most mouse pads have fabric on top. I have 3 cats (yeah, I'm allergic; that's what they make medicine for). You would think that you could just brush the fur off of mousepads with your hands. Nope. That stuff clings to that fabric like Velcro. I would use tape to try to get it off at least once a week. It would embed into the holes in my mouse. It would block the sensor causing my mouse to skip. But with this mousepad, all I have to do is blow and the fur flies right off.I use the metal side up (the metal on mine is black, not silver, but it is the metal) and the faux leather side is down. I use a Razer mouse and I have zero problems with tracking, and I also have no problems with noise. The mouse came with stickers to diminish noise, but I didn't find I needed to use them. That being said, I'm not a gamer. But I work at least 12 hours a day, 7 days a week (the joys of being self-employed), so it's not like I don't use my mouse a lot (but I'm using my keyboard a lot more than the mouse). Maybe it is because I bought the black version instead of the silver and that is why the sound is diminished? I don't know. But really, I don't hear any sound at all.I'm glad I bought the biggest one. I actually turned it vertical (portrait mode??) because I seem to move my mouse that way most often, even though I have 4 monitors, but I have a very deep keyboard drawer. Measure to see what you can use and get the biggest one you can fit.It didn't come with a wrist rest, which I absolutely need, but I have a separate one.This thing is cheap, well-made, and effective. It solved all my problems. (By the way, I did NOT get this as a freebie or anything. I'm just happy with it.)

I had hoped to use this pad with the metal side up as I like that look. This just didn't work with my new optical mouse - a RedDragon Predator M612 - no matter which settings I tried. As a result, I am using this pad with the "leather" side up using the included non slip pads. This works great and I am keeping the pad.

Es un pad mause fuera de lo común, me encanto, luce único, premium y de muy buena calidad, por un lado es aluminio pulido y por el otro textura tipo piel para que no se deslice, el mouse funciona perfecto sobre la superficie de aluminio, es mate y por lo tanto no se llena de huellas, luce de primera y muy llamativo
