These cups are my companion for every plein air painting that I do. I use them as water cup or to hold medium for oil paints. My have never leaked so far. Clip on comes very handy. I can clip them on my sketchbook of the easel or the paint palette or clipboard/mdf board I carry for doing watercolor paintings.

I am an artist, and work in many different mediums. I ordered this to use for Oil painting to add turpentine, but am currently working in watercolor and have found that these 2 wells work great for a second and third clean water rinse prior to picking up more color from my palette. One of my pet peeves is contaminating my watercolor wells with the previous color, which often happens when I do just one rinse. I still continue using my large container for the initial rinse, but am using these jars with lids for a second and third rinse. The lids screw on easily and this is a small enough item that could be carried easily for travels.

This little water clip is very well made. The clip holds tight and the lids are snug. You can fill with water (used for urban sketching with watercolors) and carry to your location without water going everywhere. I would recommend this.
