They draw stiff at first but thats a good thing. You get to break it in. Solid craftsmanship and you can feel the time put into them by the artisans. Very nice swords

5/5 For the price and appearance, these are absolutely unbeatable for what they were meant to be.I got the satin black with the white dragons. I wanted a little bit of oomph and color more than the pure black, but a bit subdued over the high gloss. They are gorgeous. Now if I were to rate them on authenticity, combat use, or anything like that then they would lose a couple of stars, but this is 3 swords for around half the price of a single low end authentic styled combat ready piece. These are half functional, which is better than some wall hangers, I'm told they do have a full length tang though it tapers off, so they should be good for some light use. Definitely not an authentically assembled tsuka (handle), but it's not something you notice right away until you pick it up and realize how wrong it is (it's just a metal grip wrapped with the tsuka ito, but there's no rayskin/faux rayskin, no menuki/charms, no wood grips, no separate kashira/endcap).What cons I do have. Not particularly sharp, definitely not as sharp as others have said, probably can be sharpened I may get around to it at some point, again wall hangers so it's not a high importance factor. Very tight in the saya (sheath/scabbard), the Wakizashi took me a few tries and some serious ugga duggas to get it out. I think they're mostly just hanging up at the mouth and I might take a narrow file to that area and open it up a little bit more.

These are really cool. They are not sharp but they do look sharp. They seem pretty durable. I haven't used them for anything other than to look at and take in and out of the case. They have a thick oily substance on them when you pull them out of the case, which is probably needed so they slide in and out.

Katanas are a great value for the price. They have a nice design and are fairly sharp. Good weight too. My only complain is the sheath of the second katana is a bit too tight making the katana difficult to slide out. I like the fact that they come with a display stand though it’s a big wobbly. Nothing an alien tape or wood glue can fix.

This is a fantastic deal. They look great, feel great in your hands and are sharp. I was surprised when each blade sliced cleanly thru paper. Each sword has a nice weight to them. The hilts are wrapped very well. The build is very solid. I went for the plain matte black. The scabbards came without a blemish and have an understated humble beauty. The stand is adequate but I opted for a wall mounted rack. They look great on my wall.

Very impressed by the quality, for the price you can't expect more. The blades are sharp, not razor sharp but very sharp. The sheaths are really nice, not sure if hand carved but it looks as if (the dragons are carved in the sheaths) Small problem, the wakizashi is very hard to take out of it's sheath but it's not like I'll have to take it out much, unless a zombie outbreak hit us.My only issue is with the stand, it's a little bit wobbly but I did not buy a stand, I bought swords so no big deal. I might have to glue the pieces together and possibly add a bigger plank under it and glue the stand on it for batter stability or my cats might knock it down.

I'm writing this review just to remind us of the dangers of having weapons in our house. These swords are lethal weapons and should be treated as such, they were not made to play 'Samurai Games'. These swords are heavy enough to cut through bone. They come well oiled in the sheath. About the sharpness they will have to be sharp enough to cut through bone. They weren't forged to cut tree limbs or paper ( I read from others reviewers). The craftsmanship is worthy of praise (for the price) also the seller mentioned "The handles are held by screws" meaning if you use it to cut tree branches they could brake off or come loose. Safety before fun. Thanks for reading

Each blade is very sharp and well-made. The sayas have a continuous dragon pattern carved in that looks great when on the included wood display. The display is not very sturdy and shakes when lifting the blades, so I’ll eventually make a new one. Great purchase.

They're lovely! They seem well balanced. The hand etching on them is really nice. Of course I have no idea what it says. The Finish is very pristine the not tying is spot on. We have not put the shelf on the wall yet but I'm sure everything will be fine. The recipient was very happy with them, as they were at Christmas present. Something he had been wanting all of his 90 plus years of life. His smile was huge.

A homerun for the price. Very good quality for the price, I didn’t expect that. The dragon engrave looks very nice. Very sharp and looks very clean.

First of all, $80 is a STEAL for these swords. They have decent quality for 3 weapons and a stand. The steel of the swords is strong, and I've seen NO chipping while using it against the occasional stick. They come out of the box sharp. Very sharp for an out-of-box weapon. I wouldn't say they are "cut a sheet of A4 paper" sharp though. My only complaint is that the smallest blade (tachi) is fragile compared to the other two weapons. After using them in not too harsh conditions, the smallest blade broke from the hilt, rendering it completely unusable. Luckily, super glue held it together enough to be a prop. Also, the handles are made from plastic for some reason. The Saya's are made from wood, the blade and hilt are made from steel, but for some reason the handle is plastic. The stand that comes with the set is alright, nothing too special. The three swords rested on the stand is a beautiful decoration. It's a great way to display your weapons aswell. If I could, I would give this a 4.9 out of 5, but Amazon isn't that precise yet.
