Your cart is empty.We combined our connections in Indonesia and Nepal to create these unique Green Tara Prayer flags. The Green Tara Mantra is printed in Tibetan and English surrounding an image of this auspicious Bodhisattva image. Green Tara is a goddess of protection and compassion. Tibetans often recite her mantra in order to help remove obstacles and provide protection. These cotton flags are surged, which enhances their beauty and durability. Prayer flags are traditionally hung outdoors (on trees, homes or mountain tops) so that when the wind blows their energy and prayers are released into the universe. These flags would also look beautiful as an indoor decoration to set the intention in the space. Each Of the flag measures 9 inches by 12 inches. here are five Tibetan traditional colors which are Yellow, green, red, white and blue. Each color represents an element. This rolls has two of each color (ten total flags). Our prayer flags maker use traditional woodblocks and screen printing and employ hardworking women who are compensated fairly for their work and skills.

These are nice flags and they appear to be sturdy. They are bigger than expected. I liked the smaller format better.

These are among the best quality prayer flags I have found - other than ones we've hand-made. The fabric seems to be more durable and each one is edge-finished, so it won't shred as quickly. The colors are true and bright. The Tara mantras are readable, and they are translated on the lower part in English - while the top part is in Tibetan. Perfect for English-speaking practitioners. I've hung these off the front of my home - from the roof to a nearby tree....a beautiful vehicle for my and everyone's prayers for Peace.
