Following the video instructions is definitely easier than following the written instructions, but the link is included on every kit. Once I watched and understood the stitching process, the rest of the setup was easy. It took me maybe half an hour, tops, to get this item stitched up and installed. Once on the rifle, it looked FANTASTIC; it really give is that "old West" feel. The sinew used for the stitching is very strong, as well; even pulling very taught I never felt as if it was about to break. Even better, this is a great value as they give you two per kit and you can order two of different colors.

This works GREAT on my Browning BLR Lightweight lever action takedown 30-06. Really makes cocking that lever easier on the fingers and it looks great too! Fairly easy to install, great video online.

The materials provided are fantastic quality and very pleasant to work with. I received 2 leather pieces, 2 needles and 1 piece of sinew. Luckily I only needed to do 1 gun so that's fine and I can obtain my own sinew if I need more in the future. On the package it sends you to a tutorial video which if followed will give you a different (X pattern) cross thread rather than the one in the pictures above. Thankfully I was able to easily figure out the threading pattern to get the pictures stitch. I really like the product and would ABSOLUTELY recommend it to you and my family.

So far I am happy with this purchase. It was easy to install and looks great. I purchased it to be a little easier on my hands when I cycled the lever but have not shot my large loop Henry. 22 after the install to see if it helps. Even if it doesn't still loos great.

It came out nice was fairly easy to install...Sure wish there was another foot or 2 of cord....There is just barely enough to get the job done....I mean like an inch or 2 left over....For $25 there should be more cord....That's why I didn't give it 5 stars...and these kits should be about $10....Although it was one of the cheaper kits out there....Put the large loop kit on a Henry Big Boy and it looks great....Do yourself a favor and take the lever off the gun....Way easier....

It was delivered to Ireland within 4 days, it was good quality. The video was in fast time and could not be followed, I tried many time and ended up doing a cross form that was like lacing boots. It fitted fine and completely closed around the handle. The sinews are incredibly strong and pull up tight. Looks good and does its job. Thanks

I am glad that the D4 website listed my Henry Classic 22 and Golden Boy large loops. The D4 website installation video was very clear and fantastic. I love the fact that the package comes with two leather wraps. You can order the same color or mix the colors. I am very pleased that the brown color that I selected closely matches my walnut stock stain. I went to an outdoor range with the Golden Boy and the loop grip is very comfortable to use on the back of your fingers. I particularly love the customized dressed-up appearance.
