My father is a woodworker and creates wonderful pieces of different Christmas items. I ordered this set to compliment his work, and was not disappointed. It is comforting in your hands during set up, and is different from regular manger scenes, as you can use your imagination. I hope to pass it down to my grandchildren someday.

This is the 4th set that I have bought for me and each of my children. It is a simple design and not highly decorative which is why I like it so much and bought it. I get a lot of compliments on it. I love that it’s from the Holy Land and that it’s made out of olive wood. I have been very pleased with each set.

The feel of the olive wood is like holding a prayer, and the tonal colors are so beautiful in each figurine. Truly a gorgeous set and so worth the price, which I think could have cost more and I would gladly pay it!

This exceeded my expectations; every piece different with grain of wood which enhances the viewing. Almost like seeing God's unique touch on each person, piece ... symbolic on how he created all of us!

Such a disappointment. They were thrown together in a small box without padding between pieces, and the pieces themselves are very lightweight and hardly distinguishable as wiseman/shepherd/Joseph. Baby doesn't stay on cradle.I have a really hard time believing that these are actually Holy Land olivewood or handcrafted.
