This is really beautiful for a front entry way. It solves so many problems and provides space for storage. And it's sturdy.

This hall tree set does a good job holding quite a bit of "stuff" while not taking up a ton of room. The bench is sturdy- even for an adult to sit on while putting on their shoes and the racks of the bench hold about 10 pairs of sneakers. The hooks on the coat rack are double hooks, with the top hook being a larger longer hook, and the bottom smaller and shorter. This allows you to double stack items securely, and not have to take off all the other items to get to what you need. The hooks are also spaced well so you can actually hang adult coats next to each other and have enough room. It's actually working out great holding all of our dog's leashes and harnesses along side the jackets keeping everything accessible but organized by the door.

We have a looong hallway from our front door to the living/dining/kitchen area of our house. My housemate doesn't really want anything in the hall to make it narrower than it already is, but we needed something. As it is, the footwear bench is in the hall closet and the coat tree hasn't been mounted anywhere yet.However, the bench is nice. It's larger than most you can get for a comparable price, being able to store boots upright instead of laying them down. It's made with quality materials that seem pretty durable. The instructions, and the holes, for either slanted or straight shelves, which is a great design feature, were very clear and easily understood.I would recommend but at a lower price. The 60 they have it for seems a little high.
