I was looking at using this iron tip for soldering PCBs and it works fine as an iron but is way bigger than you would expect. So this was no good for me. I have no problem with the tip itself though

The only problem is that it does not clear the solder as well as some larger tips, but then it should not be used for every soldering job. It is a specialty tip with a very fine point and worth having in your kit.

Utilizada con un soldador Hakko 601 me permite hacer un cordón de soldadura muy regular, sin que se noten hendiduras ni pequeños promontorios. Ésto no es solo mérito de la punta sino también del soldador.

maybe it’s me....but these tips began to crumble after a mere 3 months ( daily use average 6 hours) and in the past, i’ve been able to eke at least a year out of them.... and i’m a “ clean and re tin after each use) kinda guy.

Excellent product, but a VERY fine point, which I did not really need. No fault of the product, or Hakko though.
