The 300 g/m² thick paper made of 100% high-quality cotton is stable and absorbs a lot of water and several layers of paint excellently when painting. But it is also a perfect base for DIY collages, which can be created on the bookmarks instead of a painted image. The popular Hahnemühle "Expression Watercolour" paper meets all these requirements. The paper is surface glued and has a matte texture. It is perfect for watercolor, gouache, acrylic or fineliner. The surface sizing simplifies the use of masking tape and masking fluid without damaging the paper surface. The head-glued pad contains 15 bookmarks measuring 5.5 x 20 cm and can be used in portrait or landscape format. Landscapes or animals, such as whales are created in landscape format, floral motifs adorn the bookmarks in portrait format. The use is limitless. Be creative.

At first, I thought it was ridiculous to buy these when I could just cut down watercolour paper I already had. But I saw the great reviews and decided to give them a try anyway. I'm glad I did. The paper is excellent. It takes the paint well and does not buckle. It's also a nice surface for working with Micron pens. They make nice bookmarks that you can keep or give as gifts. You could also cut them in half and make gift or journaling tags. You could also use them for swatch cards. I would buy these again.

It would help if the description of this item was more specific. I was under the impression that there were images to paint. Perhaps I didn’t read more about it in the more detailed description way down the page. Including it would have let me feel a lot better about my purchase.

Perfect and convenient for water color bookmarks. These are so handy and fun! I am on my second order. I use Dorlands wax to seal. They are a good weight but don’t warp.

I love the pre cut size, the quality of the paper and the appearance of the final results.I do think they are value for money but you could cut your own from larger sheets which would be cheaper but I didn't want to do that. It's so much easier and quicker to use these.Overall really pleased and I am already on my 3rd pack.
