Great for street hockey. No more bruises and protects the knees when they go down. Straps could be a little more robust.

They're plenty protective, haven't had a welt or bruise on my legs since I got them. That being said, the straps are uncomfortable on the bare leg and are very loose to the point of coming off. It's best to wear long pants under them to fill in the gap and make the straps tighter and less likely to come loose. If they'd just make the straps fully velcroed rather than just the attachment points, they could be fully adjustable and far more usefull.

They probably work just fine for DEK but not for street hockey. There are 3 straps to strap to your leg which makes putting them on take a bit more time and doesn't seem to add any better alignment while playing street. The padding doesn't seem adequate or thick enough for street hockey at all. The padding is beginning to tear right below the knee cap after only 2 practices. These will be in two pieces before the season is over.

Light but with little protection. Wearing knee pads along with these. If you are looking to go light, these are a big plus

These pads are a great upgrade from their previous set. The old set were bulky and heavy. The new ones are light weight and have a built in foam inner padding which makes them sleek and breathable. My son is small for his age and these make running a lot easier. Don’t look elsewhere for shin guards these are great!

These are light weight and fit well. I’d give 5 stars but I ordered black but got white. I guess I’m stuck with them.
