Nice fit finish. Intonation run is pretty short, so get the scale correct on installation.

I liked everything about this bridge...very much like the full adjustability similar to a Hipshot. However, I was trying to retrofit the saddles into a Rickenbacker V2 Bass bridge in order to lower the action further than the stock saddles allow. The only problem was that the height screws are laid out more narrow than the stock saddles, therefore don't land properly in the grooves provided in the stock tailpiece. Another thing... I had to buy 2 of these to come up with a full set of 4 saddles since the stock saddles have intonation screws that enter on the same side of the saddles. These have EA on one side, DG on the other. If I were building an instrument from scratch or willing to retrofit entire bridge into a compatable instrument, I would definitely consider this bridge. The hardware and plating appear up to the task.

uu7uuEverything was great, until it wasn't.It all looked great upon first inspection, no parts missing, no damage or scratches on the bridge, etc. so I took measurements, drilled holes, and installed on my bass. After tensioning, it was clear the saddle piece needed to be raised up higher, (this is on my 2nd saddle, for the "D" string) but when I tried, one of the little set-in grub screws was totally knackered, AND the threads wallowed out so it will turn nicely about 3/4 of the way in then becomes almost impossible to turn, the tool stars free spinning inside the head, and it's useless to make adjustments to the saddle with. Basically renders the entire item un-useable unless you find and purchase a replacement for the badly made part. I haven't had the time, and so my Bass is still currently unplayable because of this issue. Until I find an easy way to replace the tiny bugger It will stay that way, unfortunately

Bottom line, unless you just absolutely have to have this particular bridge, get a different one. (By the time I was ready to install mine it was past the return period.) Here’s why.As others have mentioned, you will need to cut the screws in order to intonate this bridge. And because of the limited travel, you will first need to first remove the screws, and then intonate the bass without the screws to figure exactly where you need to cut them. I did this and it’s a long and tedious process. It’s also very easy to damage the screw threads when you’re cutting them , which I did. I wrote the company and ask them to send me four more screws but they couldn’t seem to understand why. I told him to read the reviews.

Though the two low strings have a medium amount of motion while adjusting the screw, the two high strings barely move at all, making correct intonation impossible for all 4 strings at once.Others have mentioned this same issue. :/

Holding the bridge in hand you can tell it's quality, just wish the screws had the same integrity as bridge.
