Took hours to remove the plastic cover over the plexiglass. Some of the glue that secures the glass to the frame extended onto the plexiglass and while trying to touch it up/clean it up the glass separated from the frame in a few areas.

This display is built and shipped with quality. It arrived packaged with no room for unnecessary beating or banging. The ad shows an electric guitar, but it comfortably fits my j200 jumbo acoustic. They send them with string- swing guitar hangers which will protect the finish on the neck where it comes in contact. 10/10 would definitely buy again!

After unboxing Guitar Case Display & taking out of box I noticed the rubber seal was out between plexiglass and frame, I had to repair, which is still out. Also the neck holder for guitar wasn't added at the factory, I had to attach product. I was disappointed with the making, having to add the neck holder myself, and product not sturdy. Unsatisfied customer

It's not designed for traveling. It is designed for display and dust protection. It reduces moisture, but is not any more air tight that a gig bag or soft case. Very good accessibility including a key if you wish to lock it from unauthorized use.

I read some of the installation reviews to my husband before he began installing. He used a couple of 1x2 strips he had painted black to match—one at the top which he attached to the wall with the screws attached to that to hold the case. The other one is about 2/3rds down to hold the case away from the wall at the same distance as the installation piece. Of course the hanger for the guitar had to be installed inside to accommodate our particular guitar. Took him some time. We are satisfied with the locking devices. Thankfully, hubby is very handy!

I bought this display case based on a friends’ experience with it. I won an autographed guitar at a Breaking Benjamin & Five Finger Destiny Punch concert at Jones Beach in 2018. I’ll try to give as much info describing it as possible. For starters, the finish is smooth, doesn’t look like wood. All the hardware is gold (brass) colored. I’m not a fan of brass hardware but I’ll get used to it. This comes with some hardware to mount but I used my own. It comes with 2 corner mounting brackets that mount to the back of the display case itself, and then you put 2 screws into the wall and it hangs on those. The screws for the brackets that gets screwed into the back of the case are very very small. I used a small precision screwdriver to screw the brackets onto the back. I don’t think you can use a regular screwdriver since they are so tiny. The actual guitar hanger is not secured to the back of the unit or in place upon unboxing. It comes with a “String Swing” in the box for you to mount. It comes with hardware to just mount it through the back of the case but I decided to screw through the back and into the wall for a little added support and to hold the whole case level. It has 3 latches to keep the door shut. Only the middle one uses a “key”. The key is pretty much garbage to be honest. You could probably use a paper clip if you ever lost the keys. The window is an acrylic like everyone else has stated.Oh I forgot this did not come with any instructions (not that you really need them. But to have the dimensions of how far apart the screws should be would be nice instead of taking your own measurement.I received this and mounted it today. About 20-30 minutes prior to this review. If anhhhing changes or if it starts to fall apart or anything, I’ll update. But for the $ I can say it’s worth it.I might add lighting to in at some point.

Everything I expected. Great price and arrived in excellent condition. Hardware could be better quality but that is easily replaced. I reinforced the hanging brackets utilizing epoxy along with the supplied screws just for added security. Also when the guitar hanger is installed the foundation is pretty solid.

Won a radio contest... Many prizes... One of which was a signed guitar by STYX and REO SPEEDWAGON... (also got to sing on stage with them!)Needed to prominently display the guitar while keeping dust and finger prints OFF!Chose the Mahogany case with Red Velvet backing to offset the Sunburst colors of the Fender Squire Stat. (low end guitar... made valuable by the signatures and the memory!)Case arrived on time and was everything I expected.Case has slotted screw mounts on both top corners for hanging on wall and hardware for haning the guitar. 2 lockable clasps with keysDRAWBACKS!1.) You will need to lay all flat and line up the guitar mount for top/bottom and side to side centering.(no guidance or pre drilling)2.) IF your guitar has a "whammy bar" It will be against the Plexi-glass when door is closedThe case itself will not support the weight of a guitar. you MUST screw the guitar mount into the wall or other backing.I used 2x2 "I" frame which I mounted to the wall. Screwed Guitar mount to that, through the case backing. Gives case a "Suspended" appearance!OVERALL... Very satisfied! For the price point... Great Product!
