I was so impressed first with the packing which didn't require a tool box to dismantle yet contained the alarm safely. The instructions were written clearly, in English (rather than a translation from Chinese), with logical steps, pictures that matched the alarm, and sequentially. The alarm worked just as described per the instructions. And it was easy! It's installed now and working well enough that it caught the bear walking across the yard during the evening! I give it all thumbs up!

I installed this system over 3 years ago, one unit and 2 sensors cost me £140 at the time and still consider it good value. The price at the moment is fantastic value. After 3 years batteries are still good, very few false alarms if your spend a little time setting them up in the right position and right height. The plastic has not degraded over the years and the mounts are still strong. I have system on a smart switch so i can can schedule when I want it on. It a shame I can not add another alarm box so i can have one downstairs and one upstairs, but they are so cheap now I may just buy another unit.

I installed 2 sensors at the rear of my property to cover a gate and verandah it was easy to program and I have had no problems. The sensors are very well made and are very high spec compared to most products produced these days.

Vraiment exceptionnel, fonctionnement sans faille, et surtout évolutif de multiples façons. j'ai chainé une sirène à 50m du récepteur si je suis loin du récepteur. le détecteur mange très peu de piles et fait une détection intelligente. le récepteur est réglable comme on veut... Pour exploiter toutes les possibilités il faut quand même réfléchir un minimum..

I've been using a $15 Harbor Freight driveway sensor for years... gone through 2 of them. I thought missed detections and false alarms was just to be expected. But this spring when I was getting false alarms several times a day, I got mad and looked to find a better unit. After some study, I selected this Guardline alarm and I'm very glad I did.It was much more expensive that what I had been using, but if it really worked well the additional cost would be worth it to me. I ordered it through Amazon. It arrived just a few days later. There were two boxes inside- one for the alarm portion that goes into the house, the other the sensor that gets mounted outside so it has a view of the driveway. The setup instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The sensor was easy to assemble and insert the AAA batteries needed. Pairing with the receiver went smoothly. In my use, the receiver is inside of a steel sided house and the sensor is about 150 feet away. The sensor is mounted about 4' high, is attached to a pine board which is, in turn, attached to a tree. It is possible to point the sensor in various directions, enable a slow speed detection, alter maximum detection range, change re-detection time, and adjust sensitivity. In fact, I was surprised at how custom this alarm can be. Every thing went real smoothly ..... except I was getting too many false alarms and a few missed detections. I went back to the sensor and tried to readjust where it pointed. That made a tremendous difference in performance. After using it for well over a week, I am delighted with its sensitivity. I get very few false alarms (deer walking past the sensor, a huge crow walking on the driveway, and a few alarms with unknown causes) but every true situation (car in driveway, person walking in driveway) has been picked up. Perhaps the most difficult part of the system configuration is deciding which of the 32 alarm sounds you want to hear.... I chose a "car horn" and that has been working well. I have also been contacted by the company, twice, asking if the setup was going ok or if I could use any help (I never needed their help).Bottom line: high quality product, rapid delivery, good instructions to setup, ample offers of assistance if needed, and excellent performance. That was actually more than I was expecting from this driveway alert product. Was it worth a more premium price? Absolutely yes. I have no regrets at all about this purchase.

Facile installazione, senza fili. Rileva intrusioni in un vialetto d'accesso alla mia abitazione. Ampia gamma di suoni/Melodie nella unità ricevente.Ogni tanto presenta falsi allarmi dovuti a piccoli animali (gatti nella fattispecie) che in teoria non dovrebbe rilevare. Per proteggerlo maggiormente dalla pioggia ho realizzato una copertura supplementare in rame sottile che funziona perfettamente. Dall installazione (20/09) non ho ancora sostituito le batterie del rilevatore.

I selected this alarm after reading the many positive reviews. I opted out of the popular SMART doorbell because I was looking for more of a perimeter alarm device vs something that would alert when the visitor was right up to the door in my urban setting. This was a quick install. I had shrubs along the front walk so I simply placed it amongst the foliage. The brown coloring of the sensor housing blended in with the mulch. During the first several days of use, I had multiple false alarms and false positives. I determined the best placement and sensitivity at which to adjust the sensor and it has been great. The alert melodies are nice but most don't appeal to me. I may tap into the 12vdc ports to power a standalone sound device. Also, as added protection to some concerns with respect to water intrusion on the sensor, I simply applied silicone/electrical tape on the seam. Between that, and the protection of the shrubbery, it should be well covered. Given my success with this product, I will likely pick up an additional sensor for other areas of the property.update at 3 months: still working wonderfully. for your amusement, there were two weeks where it would periodically alert and it drove me crazy as no one was seen. finally, I saw a neighborhood cat so I relocated the sensor to point away from the customary path. there were several more triggering of the alarm and, by chance, I saw a big rodent out searching for dinner. once I placed the sensor another 12" higher, all seems well. I've not had any false/positive alerts during the past month
