Wurde jetzt mehrfach gestestet und für gut befunden.Man kann ne heisse Tasse Kaffee halten ohne heisse Finger zu kriegen.Man kann ne heisse Tasse Kaffee trinken ohne sich die Lippen zu verbrennen.Ausserdem kann man durch den deckel auch ein paar Utensilien in dem Becher verstauen für den Transport.

Very lightweight and perfect for my camp set up.Has a cozy and a fabric handle so it will nestle in other pots, keep coffee hot longer. The lid is superbGSI are my go to for this and other camping gear.Pricey but worth it.

Thank you Amazon for selling this item a bit cheaper than in popular hiking stores, also offering this color of green which is not available in stores right now. Since I have almost everything for hiking, I am surprised I didn't try this cup already. Now I see why it is popular. It is super lightweight. The plastic cup comes out of the cover if you like. The cup has measuring lines on it. The cover is attractive and has a handle, which is made of a strap so you can flatten it down for packing. The top is removable and has a flap lid. You can make hot coffee in the cup and hold it without burning yourself. It keeps the hot coffee warm for longer than a cup without a lid (but not as long as an insulated thermos of course). It is very pleasant to be at camp and have the feeling of a normal mug. In summer my favorite backpacking mug has been the sea to summit x mug which flattens down. But for winter backpacking I prefer this mug because it keeps the coffee warmer long enough to drink it.

fantastic and fairly lightweight all purpose mug to take on the trail. Keeps drinks warm, especially with the foam sleeve and lid on. has graduations for measurement on the plastic inside cup which is virtually clear and makes it easier to see the markings. I paired this with the GSI Coffee Rocket which fits perfectly inside the mug, but also makes wonderful coffee as well. The inside cup comes out for easy dishwashing when back home also.

This is a great luxury item for ultra light backpacking, particularly for a coffee drinker like me. The manufacturer has a couple brewing solutions that pair with it too. Very light weight and keeps stuff warm.Word of caution. This is not your old Sierra cup, you can’t hang outside your pack as insert cup will fall off. My insert cup, ironically, is now somewhere in Sierra. No matter, it was replaced.Now I have a rubber band between the insert and the liner.
