The lack of instructions and what appears to be poor-quality parts make this a very frustrating product. If you’re replacing an original rotisserie due to wear and are already familiar with how it works, this kit might be okay. However, if you’re starting from scratch, be prepared to get creative and spend a lot of time sleuthing on the internet to figure it out.We ultimately gave up on investing more time to assemble it because it just wasn’t worth the hassle. Disappointed with the overall experience and wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re desperate for a replacement and willing to troubleshoot heavily on your own. For us, it’s a non-functional product.There is another review that goes really in depth of the build and value. I’m going to be in agreement with it that you probably need to know what you’re doing and have little spare parts on hand to finish the job.

The Masterbuilt series of gravity smokers are one of the best, the fuel is loaded in the side chimney fed down automatically with the heated air blown through the cooking cavity producing temps to 700 degrees. This rotisserie allows for smoking chicken, turkey or a roast. The unit is a match for the OEM version. Recommended for ease of install and use.

A nice rotisserie set, with motor, forks, and several spindles of various sizes. It all works, but unfortunately I didn't realize it was for a specific grill, so I couldn't attach it to mine. Otherwise, looks like a nice setup with everything you'd need for a Masterbuilt grill!

I'm not sure what the other reviewers got, but what I received was very similar to the official Masterbuilt rotisserie I purchased a couple years ago. The problem I had with my old one was that it was a "used" Amazon purchase, and it seemed like someone stripped the gears on the motor, so it wouldn't turn the spit if it had any weight on it at all. This aftermarket one fit right into place with nearly identical parts. I can't wait to smoke some turkeys with this thing, and hopefully the seller has whatever parts inconsistencies resolved.

The major point, does it work? yes it works, the motor is strong and the parts are made of quality steel. I did a 15lb turkey on it for thanksgiving. I wish that was all i had to say but there were problems.1. Missing hardware for the right hand side mount. I have a job where I keep assorted small screws so luckily I had what I needed, Most of you will not. you will need 3 m4x12 screws preferably stainless steel. (warning I THINK this is the size I used, they MIGHT have been M3x12 screws) 10-15mm long screws would work as well, they just need to be short screws for the installation.2. The sleeve that goes through the hole in the grill and attaches to the motor is a HAIR too short, this makes installation difficult and requires a lot of force to get the threads started. This part needs to be lengthened by 1mm. What they sent works with the proper amount of effort but it could be a lot better.3. they sent rods for all masterbuilt models. THis means you're paying for 2 steel rods that you don't need. They should make the kit specific to the grill you have and send proper hardware instead. they could probably even reduce the price and shipping costs without the 2 extra rods for the two models you don't have.4. you need some pliers or vice grips to secure the thumb screws or they WILL come lose during cooking. I'm a big guy and I could not tighten them enough by hand to keep them secure. a small pair of pliers gave me the leverage I needed to tighten the set screws in place that keep your food firmly in place. If they dimpled the rod so the set screws had better purchase that would be good.. OR send a simple custom tool with the kit you can use to tighten the thumb screws.All these things aside, once you get your own screws.. and once you secure the food in place. The rod slides into the motor and mount easily. The motor is strong and quiet. I was able to rotisserie my THanksgiving turkey without issue. (I only let it spin a few hours, but it was working without issue) I just didn't want to risk it falling apart as it got tender.Lastly the product is currently on sale for a good price. But the price on this item for this vine review was 87$ I would most certainly be returning this product with the issues that it had at 87$ currently the product is about 63$ which is a pretty good price IF they included the screws you need.

No mounting hardware or instructions came with the kit!!! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED 😞 😔 Save ur money and buy directly from the manufacturer!
