Bolt holes matched great to the band brake hub

This holes used to bolt on the rotor were slightly off (maybe this, maybe the rotor) but was able to use them. The real issue I had was that the holes for the set screws were either not tapped all the way through or both had severe thread damage near the bottom. Upon assembly the set screws felt seated and torqued down but after removing the key it just spun because the set screws weren't touching the shaft. Rather than disassembling everything again, I was able to tap each hole by aligning them over the keyway. I suppose I should have checked prior to installing but shouldn't have to.

I was looking for a 40-50 tooth #40 rollerchain compatible sprocket to add power height control to a manual sawmill. This go-cart sprocket fits, works very well in raising and lowering the sawmill head as fast as doing it by hand, and did NOT break the bank. Time will tell how well this holds up, but being a low speed, low torque application, it should last a long time.

Came with the smallest bolts and can be centered. Clearly someone didn’t think this through. Another trip to the hardware store, so I’m not happy as I am rural and expect things to be right without having to make the extra trip. Not this time…
