This mower replaced a gas mower which I had for about 12 years. I have been very impressed with how much better this mower is than the one it replaced. This mower is self-propelled and lives up to that title. It is strong and requires me to just glide along behind it. I have been really pleased with the power and battery life. By the time I finish mowing my neighbor's and my lawn, I have just transferred power to the second battery. Very pleased with the performance so far. Since I am in the first year of operation, don't have an idea of battery life yet.

This was my first experience with a battery powered mower and it was easy to assemble and set up charger. Batteries charged to a full charge in about 1 hour. Pleased with the fact the charger had a cooling fan which allows for batteries not to over heat while charging. Unit comes with 2 blades and I opted for the straight blade and found the change out to go extremely fast and smooth. Directions are easy and simple to understand. Obviously needed to put it to use so mowed entire yard with ease and the grass catcher bag worked better then any mower I’ve ever owned‼️ I’m sixty that’s a lot of mowers LOL. Anyway feel extremely confident in choosing this mower as a standard yard workhorse for a residential unit.

When this arrived and we went to insert the handle there was extra cord between the lower handle and top handle and we could not insert it to make room to insert the top handle. Luckily by brother came over, he removed the cord bracket from the bottom and we were able to pull it down that way, but then we had extra cord at the bottom which I had to pull through the tubing toward the center of the mower so it did not get caught on the wheels.Secondly, one of the batteries says 4 bars when charged but quickly goes down to 2 bars after one pass. I will call customer service on Monday and will change my review if I get help.Otherwise it performs great, yard look great and easy to manage machine. Seems very powerful.

The mower works well. I can do my yard, front and back, easily on one charge. My only complaint is the rear wheel drive. I prefer front wheel drive so when you do a u-turn you can tilt the front drive wheels off the ground. Plus, the drive doesn’t release right away when you release the lever so you have to push it a little forward to back up.All in all, I like it. Beats storing gas and doing maintenance yearly.Time will tell if it will last as long as the gas one.

Great Price, Ok Shipping Time, Exceptional Quality! This will be the last Lawn Mower for me, hopefully. The reviews were on point so I took a gamble and it pays off well every other week. This thing can cut, it gets the freaking job done almost effortlessly! The Only down side we found was the bag size, way to small for a machine that cuts this fine. Yes, this is a grass Shredder! It cuts the grass into thin shredds like a paper shredder would. No lie. This is the real!

I bought this to replace my ego.I have only used once. I’m 68 and was able to assemble just fine. So far so good. I can’t recommend it yet, maybe in the future.

I’m a landlord that provides mowers as part of the lease. Typically I order Ego mowers because the battery is good across the tools. I bought the Greenworks 60V mower because, unlike the Ego mowers, it has a side discharge. The rear discharge on the Ego is easily clogged and I’ve found it relatively useless. The side discharge on the Greenworks mower will allow you to cut taller grass and wetter grass. And since the discharge keeps the mower from re”chopping” the grass, it saves the battery for mow yard to mow. Using side discharge, I get much better performance in Spring grass. Now since they also have a special going on for a 60V blower and trimmer, this is the better buy.Otherwise, they are functionally the same. Mulching is similar. Both come with about 480 watt hours of battery in this price range. I like the speed adjustment on this unit better than the Ego because you can throttle it without removing your hands.I’ll probably buy Greenworks from now on. The Ego 7.5AH battery alone costs $400, which is just a little less than the special going on right now for Greenworks 60V mower.
