boards are cheap, several boards were bowed and warped which were in the middle so i would have had to take the entire thing apart to replace some boards. they were not sanded and produced several splinters. i could have went to a lumber store and bought wood that was pre-sanded and made this myself for less money.

I got the item on time. I bought 2 one for me and one for my son. I THOUGHT I was getting the whole picture. I thought I was getting the frame and the wood slats. don't be fooled you can probably get the wood slats for less. Now I need to look for I guess bunk bed frames to put the wood slats in. I don't want to sleep on the floor.

I'm not really sure what to write. I mean, it's a review for bed slats. How much can a person write about bed slats? It works like it should. I put a memory foam mattress on top of the slats on a twin size bed frame. It is holding up fine. I will point out that the slats go vertically and not horizontally. I don't think this effects anything, but some people might not want vertical slats. The item arrived quickly and was boxed accordion-style. The slats are held together with a type of material/facing. U just spread the slats out and lay them down. Very simple to use.Edited to add: the slats don't always seem to want to stay in place. They want to bunch together on one side of the frame. Every time I change the sheets, I have to space the slats out again. Not a big deal, but if you're a picky person (which I am not), it may annoy u.
