The pillow came in a nice travel stuff sack and while it was packed tightly for shipping it soon regained its original shape after taking it out of the stuff sack and letting it resize.I did not notice any obnoxious smell or other odors after unpacking. The pillow has a nice size both horizontally and vertically while it also has a nice thickness. The firmness is not too stiff but still offers a good support to the neck or head area. I am also using it as a lap pillow for supporting my mobile devices and it sits nicely and offers some good support for that use.The colors are nice and seem true to the pictures on the website and description. The fabric itself has a nice feel to it and I think it will wear nicely without pilling or wearing thin in areas.I like this pillow and stuff sack. I bought this at a store in North Carolina and felt compelled to write a review here. This is the best camping pillow I've ever used. I do not love inflated pillows and I've tried several. It's light and packs down to a little larger than the size of a Nalgene 32 oz bottle. The fill is supportive AND soft without smooshing down after several nights of use. You can adjust the loft of the pillow with the handy drawstring around the perimeter of the pillow. If you can spare the room in your pack, this is a gem. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that, in my humble opinion, there's always room for improvement when it comes to pillows.

Mixed feelings about this pillow - it has held up well to multiple washes, and the adjustable drawstring works great. It’s lumpy, and the fabric is slippery, but is fine for camping / hammocking. The included stuff sack doesn’t work well and it’s incredibly difficult to get the pillow back in, so that reduced usability for travel. Overall I like it, but wouldn’t purchase again unless they changed the stuff sack (having it attached to the bag and slightly larger size would be fantastic).

This pillow is exactly what I have been looking for! On planes I usually sleep resting my face on the tray in front of me. I had to bundle a blanket in the center of my neck pillow to be comfortable. Now I only carry this travel pillow and it is perfect!

Camping trip was much better knowing that we were going to rest on these pillows rather than the home pillows.and WOW.. they are compact but they do the job and campsites
