The Gotoh Tune-o-matic Bridge with Studs/Bushings is a modern version of the Tune-o-matic bridge for solidbody guitar.
The metal saddles have helpful starter grooves to guide your slotting files. Intonation screws are retained by mini hex nuts. Includes threaded thumbwheel studs and bushings. Use an 11mm drill bit to install the bushings.
Measurements:
- String spread: 2-1/16" (52.39mm)
- Saddle radius: 12" (304.80mm)
- Post spacing: 2-29/32" (73.82mm)
- Post threads: M8 x 1.25
About bridge & tailpiece measurements:
- String spread is the distance between the centers of the outer strings on a bridge or tailpiece.
- Saddle radius determines the arc formed by all the individual saddle heights, and is similar to the measurement of a fretboard.
- Stud/post spacing is the distance between the centers of the mounting posts of a bridge or 'stop' tailpiece.

Kit came with a cheap bridge, couldn't get the G string to intonate properly. This kid came along and fixed that problem all kinds of great.

Seemed like a good quality product, but once I got around to using it on my guitar project, I realized it was not straight. And unfortunately for me I’m well past the point of return so I have an over priced paperweight. My advice, don’t order u til your 100% ready to install, and check your stuff as soon as it arrives so you’re not stuck and almost $40 in the hole with nothing to show for it.

Upon install I had saddle vibration on two of the saddles. I couldn’t get it to go away, and ended up getting a graph tech. I’m not sure if this was a one off problem, but I didn’t want to risk it. The width and everything else about the bridge piece seemed way better than stock, but the vibration in the saddle was extremely audible when playing so I returned it.

Finally, a bridge that perfectly replaced the original in a mid-80's Made in Korea Epiphone Les Paul. I did not have to replace the studs or even try to nudge them. The action is pretty much the same as with the old bridge. One unexpected bonus, the intonation range on this bridge is wider than on the old bridge. So now the thin E string and D sting do intonate.Last, I can't complain about looks. Except for being new, it looks like it came with original bridge and tailpiece. The one thing I wish for, is that it had the saddles pre-slotted. I suppose they don't do that at the factory since they don't know what thickness strings you play.

I have had this guitar for many years, but the original bridge was lost and I could not find a replacement. The original bridges were stationary and not adjustable except for overall height. I did some measuring and decided I could make this one work, but I had to drill out the holes in the guitar body slightly larger with a 3/8" bit and make them about 1/16" farther apart. This was tricky, but I took my time and figured out how best to do it. Once I had the holes right, this bridge popped right in, and now I have a really nice vintage guitar with a fully adjustable bridge. Great bridge on a great (now) guitar.

Ordered Tues... got it Fri...3days early, so that's awesome.. I ordered this to replace a bent bridge on 2016 Epiphone Les Paul traditional pro ii... it's a direct fit for the original so no modifications were necessary... I'm also grateful for that! It's a great product. I installed, set the action and intonated and was playing again in under 2 hours.... it sounds WAY better than the stock bridge... and I really liked the original...it has great sustain and the tone is rich and a bit softer?/thicker?, warmer!...in a good way.. you can tell it's made from a much better quality metal... the saddles are slotted and should be grooved/ filed for different string thicknesses but there's no buzzing,etc...It didn't completely transform my guitar tone...it made a really good tone noticably better!

Tune-O-Matic.... makes setup easy. If your post set into threaded bushings, use this. These posts fit the same inserts that came with the roller bridge I replaced, so there's no need to pull inserts. If you have a Kluson type bridge where the small posts thread directly into the wood, the guitar will need modification for this to fit. If you play Gibsons, you're already used to these. If it ain't broke.....
