What can I really say that hasn’t been said already? I’ve been using Gotoh for years, they make excellent aftermarket parts, and I’ll continue to use them. This bridge drops right into the existing mount for American and Mexican Teles without modification - it’s a direct retrofit.

When you purchase a brand new Fender Telecaster body, it is drilled (string holes and 4 attachment screw holes) for a traditional telecaster 3 saddle bridge. I, and many other players, do not like the 3 saddle bridge. There's, to me, too much compromise for individual string intonation.This Gotoh bridge provides detailed drawings with measurements to be certain you get the correct bridge plate the first time! Hear that "Fender"? You have many bridges on Amazon, but only show the top picture. No bottom picture to be sure you're getting the correct bridge! No detailed drawings with precise measurements. Your Fender returns must be off the charts. There are SO MANY different bridges for Telecaster guitars.In short, this Gotoh bridge provides individual string intonation and converts the classic style bridge to the more modern 6 saddle bridge. This bridge is supposed to work on my Tele but it doesn't work at all. the saddles are way too far back. The intonation would never adjust properly. To use this I'd have to rework the whole guitar and move the bridge pick up forward. What's going on here? Other than that, it's stunning. LOL
