I use this mat regularly for working out and yoga. With former exercise mats, I had to use “yoga petals” under my knees to protect them. The density of the foam in this mat is so much better, I don’t need extra padding. Also, my cats don’t (or can’t) tear with their claws. After purchasing a cheaper version of this mat at a chain store, I searched online for another to make a larger exercise area. While the mats look similar, this one was more expensive $59 vs $29, but built with better quality, such as the ability to remove & clean the cover, heavier duty handles & velcro, and smaller stitching. I appreciate the ease of folding up the mat for storage. Recommend!
