This is a kinetic gas pump,meaning it's need a constant flow of 80psi dry air...I am dubious if it will work below 20mbar .

At 90 PSI of air pressure, I was pretty regularly pulling 65 cmHg / 25-26 inHg of vacuum with this pump. Honestly, that's not shabby. 29.92 inHg/ 76 cmHg is 'perfect' vacuum at sea level.No moving parts, so that's helpful. The plastic case is pretty chintzy, and cracked after a day of use so I'll knock off a star for that. Honestly, they could do without it. Just have the air fitting and the vac fittings all on one tee with a muffler for the air. Nobody is fooling anyone with all of that plastic.If you're some HVAC try-hard, then you're not using this anyhow (or at least you ought to be using a rotary vane pump), but if you're a home-gamer like most of us, you'll be fine with this. If you're that worried about the difference between 25 inHg and 29 inHg, just go rent a rotary vane pump from the parts store.
