The critical weld bead at the top of the adjustment cylinder, is insufficient in both placement and penetration, to ensure long term integrety of that welded joint. The 3 straps, 0.125" X 0.375" on either side, once welded into positioned, must have their mating ends welded into a single piece of metal. The minimal amount of attachment weld laid down, further limits its anti-flex efficiency.
