Audio is incredibly crisp with little to no feedback. I've been using with my Sony a7IV and am happy it did not need an adapter. The case is also incredibly helpful. Perhaps a content creator's dream, although I'll be using it mostly for advertising.

I was super stoked to try this out when I got it. The best part? It connects straight to my Sony camera via the hot shoe—no extra cables dangling around, no fuss! Honestly, anything that helps me ditch cables is already a win in my book.The sound quality? Pretty solid! There’s some background noise with two mics at first, but after turning on the noise cancellation, it cleaned up nicely. I’m not exactly making Oscar-winning films over here, but for YouTube videos or casual vlogging, this thing is awesome. Plus, the fact that it supports up to three microphones is a sweet touch—perfect for those times when my friends jump into the shot, and we’re all talking over each other.The charging case is really convenient, and the whole setup feels sturdy, like it’ll survive getting tossed around in my bag. For the price, it’s pretty great, but I think a few tweaks could take it from good to legendary. Still, for a Sony user like me who hates cables and just wants decent audio with minimal hassle, this is a game changer and much lighter on the wallet than bigger name brands.

This is a fantastic device. I've bought other Godox photography equipment for lighting, so I knew that this was going to be a quality piece of kit. I much prefer to use an external microphone rather than the camera one, as the sound quality is better and you're able to get the microphone closer to the person you're filming/interviewing.The kit comes with microphones and a receiver, so you can have more than one person talking to the camera at a time if you want/need to. It's easy to set-up and come in its own charging doc, so you can keep it charged on the go, which is more convenient than having to carry a charger or spare mic pack around, or have a bag full of batteries to replace them as they run out. The case is charged via a standard USB-C connection, which also means you're not having to carry around multiple charging cables!The audio recording is great quality, especially as it has built-in noise reduction. It also doesn't just have to be used with a Sony camera, you can attach it to other devices with USB-C connections. You also have the choice of using the mics wireless or wired, depending on your preference or equipment.This is a great, compact set of mics, and good for professional or personal use.

This set consists of two transmitters and a receiver, three furry wind muffs, a charging case, a USB A-C data cable, a storage case, and two audio cables.The receiver is designed for a Sony camera and fits the Mi hotshoe mount perfectly. It is also possible to use it with other makes of cameras, Android, or Apple devices via the included TRS audio cables. The included USB A-to-C cable allows the receiver to be connected to a PC via WEC-S technology.The microphones are lightweight and clip securely to your clothing, although they are a little large and not very discreet thanks to the very noticeable branding. The audio range is impressive, as I was able to use them on the other side of my garden from the receiver without any issues. The description states that they offer a range of up to 200 meters. I haven't tried this distance yet, but I am happy with being able to record at around fifty meters, as I am unlikely to require much more than this.If using them outdoors, the furry mufflers are easy to attach and work well at reducing the noise from the wind, and combined with the denoise option which helps to eliminate environmental sounds , they allow you to capture excellent-quality audio even on relatively windy days.The recorded audio quality is impressive: recording in either mono or stereo, 48 kHz, 16-bit sound. I like that the receiver has a built-on RX omnidirectional microphone, which is great if you are vlogging and recording yourself speaking from behind the camera.The charging case is very convenient and ensures that the devices are charged and ready to use when you need them. This is handy if you are planning on recording multiple times a day, as you can keep them topped up and do not need to worry about the battery dying mid-video.The hard-shell storage case will help protect your microphone kit from knocks and bumps and will help extend the life of these devices.I do feel it is possibly a little overpriced, and the large branding on the microphones is very distracting as it is clearly visible in my videos, but other than this, I am happy with this microphone kit and look forward to using it for my various projects.

This is the Sony specific version of this mic that only mak s sense if you are going to use on the hit show if your Sony camera. There are work around for other cameras (indeed you could even plug it into your PC) but I would say why bother when there are cheaper and better mics out there.Assuming you have it hot shoe to your Sony (as I have), it performs OK. I am not that impressed in terms of sensitivity and range. But I don't like how the hinge works and the massive branding is a real deal breaker for me. I wouldn't mind if I could plug in a discreet lapel mic into it but that is not an option.

For a long time I was looking for wireless microphones for my Sony. The biggest problem is that I have always hated cables, something that these Godox WEC S have only solved. No more annoying cables or accidental disconnections. It is just a matter of turning on the microphones and putting the receiver on the hot shoe and there you go, digital audio directly captured thru the hot shoe without the need of cables. The audio is quite good, good range, noise cancellation works very well. Overall a 10/10

I initially had trouble getting the charging to work - until I removed the small plastic coverings over the usb-c ports of the individual items!!! I think the manuals should make this seemingly obvious point quite clear - FIRST REMOVE the TINY PLASTIC COVERS THAT ARE OVER THE USB-C PORTS because they coever the charging pins!!!Other than that I think it's an excellent product as per expectations of Godox design and manufacture.

So first off, these are not professional quality, it's important to understand this as it sets expectations properly.With that out of the way, this kit is quite useful for on the go vlogging, especially if that includes two people or interviewing others.Yes, systems that cost thousands will sound great and have brilliant range, buto for the money, these really do sound good and the range is pretty good too. the charger case is very useful for on the go use.
