wedding photographer, and the round head offers some great light fall compared to the fresnel head. The fresnel head does put out more power, but the round head offers nice light fall.PS. I bought with the extended warranty which is great as a really hard fall can break the glass/bulbs. Worth the little extra.

First, the ad200 is a beast of a flash and I have had a set of them since they were first released. This round head turns your ad200 into a very useful multi-function flash. I use two ad200’s with round heads and the barn door for my background lights. It can take a dark room and turn the background into a high key at only 1/16th. Camera set at iso 200, 5.6, 1/160

Bought this to augment my AD200. I really love that the modeling lamp has 3 levels of brightness. So far this has exceeded my personal expectations for this product. Love the soft round catch light you cab get with this.

I've had the AD200 for a while. The default head on it proved too direct/harsh for some situations. The round head provides a somewhat softer light (although I also use it to light up my white seamless backdrop). Combined with the accessories/modifiers it gives me the versatility I need.
