It does not have a strap to keep it bunched up, but it really isn't necessary.

I'm still happy with these even though are a little smaller than what i had expected. They do fit in my hiking bad nicely though, so thats a plus! And kept our butts dry at the top of a snowy mountain.

Great product for anyone who bikes, hikes, backpacking, skiing or just as a carry along for the picnic table. Lightweight and easy to bring anywhere.Lifesaver, instead of sitting on wet/cold/rough ground.

These are great for hiking when you want to sit down and they make a decent pillow very lightweight no need to inflate pretty simple to pack in a bag or strapped to it

With most backpacking purchases you have to pick 2: cheap, light, or effective. This is one of the few things I've found that scores well on all 3!For a few bucks and 27g this is a huge improvement on logs and bare ground for sitting and kneeling. It also works as a doormat, a way to fan a campfire, a dry place to rest your pack, etc. The dirt shakes of easily. It's small and light enough to strap to the outside of the pack for easy access. There are comfier chairs, but only at the cost of more weight AND dollars, and none are easier to deploy at a moments notice.

What a simple little thing to make lunchtime on the trail all the more enjoyable. Great insulation from the cold ground too.

These are not as big or as thick as expected. If you use them both on top of each other they will provide adequate cushion, but there is still a small surface area. More suited for a child than a full grown adult. I ended up purchasing a larger more robust version from REI, but will keep these around to lend to friends who might want to use while backpacking.

I took these on a hiking trip and they were great. They're lightweight, easy to shove in an outer pocket on a pack, and do make a difference when sitting. It was cooler and somewhat wet for my trip and it was nice having not only the added cushion but also the added warmth. In addition to sitting, I used this under my sleeping pad to have a little more cushion for my hips. Is it going to feel like a thick foam seat cushion? No. Is it going to feel much better sitting on a bench or rock and keep the early morning dew off your butt? Yes.
