Not very tall at all and my daughter does not have a tall bed. Husband and I lifted it up a few inches and he had to reinforce/add wood to the bottom in order to give it some height.Decent construction otherwise and you get what you pay for at this price point.

I spent a few months looking at different headboards and kept coming back to this one, and I am glad that I did! It is heavy with a wonderful wood finish. It didn’t take long to set up, and it will look beautiful once the room is done. I’m very happy with my purchase!

I bought this queen size headboard which I figured would not be that high quality for the price but it was going in a guest bedroom rarely used. First off, the color and finish were pretty bad. So after requesting to return it and being told that was on me to get it back through UPS, I decided to paint it and it came out pretty good. So all was not lost...until I tried to assemble it after being painted. The directions are pretty straight forward and I have assembled many pieces of furniture in my day. the first issue arose when I attempted to install the cam locks. All of them snapped in half or shattered upon insertion into the wood. OK, maybe I can somehow make this work anyway. so I attempted to line up the posts with the headboards using the dowels as guides and them would secure the post to the headboard with some type of L-anchors to the back. No go. The dowels did not line up with the holes they were to match with. Honestly. I am now out the cost because I made the mistake of painting it. But probably wouldn 't have made the effort to return it because I could not easily get it back into the shipping box. Word the wise...avoid this product.

The headboard itself is very nice, especially for the money. It looks beautiful and has some weight to it. It was extremely well packed, and there was no damage. No complaints there! The headboard itself gets 5 stars all the way. The big problem, as so many other reviewers have mentioned, is those crappy cam locks. One of them broke into 5 pieces when I was pushing it into the factory drilled hole with my finger. My finger! That's how bad these things are. I think they are plastic. Whatever they are, they are garbage. Two others would not latch on to the screw they are supposed to attach to. So, I have a headboard mounted to a frame, and both legs are now mainly being held on place by friction by the wood dowels. I might take the whole thing apart again and try some wood glue in the dowel holes. It's a shame, because some cheap 10 cent cam locks have tarnished my experience with what is really a nice headboard.

I love the way it looks! So pretty! It will be very sturdy too. The only issue I have with the headboard is, while putting it together, one of the "cam Lock" screws disintegrated. I have reached out to the company to see if they can send a replacement screw.... will update when I get a response. This does affect the sturdiness of the headboard, but I still managed to put it together. Update: This company was awesome! They reached out literally, within hours of messaging them about the cam lock. Within a day or so they sent 4 more cam locks. The parts where here in no time, and it's all fixed. I couldn't be happier!! Would definitely buy from them again!!
