Setup was easy in wled. So wish I could do more than 4 presets though. Still, nice not to have to pull out my phone. Has a pretty long range too. I was over 150ft away and could still control my lights with the remote.

I am new to WLED but I have used other types of LED controllers for years. I like the flexibility of WLED but I missed the remote control of some of my other proprietary controllers. This remote solves that problem and works very well. The remote takes 2 AAA batteries and comes with a short instruction pamphlet that goes through the simple setup. The setup was very easy and took mere seconds to pair it with my WLED controller. Now I not only have the flexibility of WLED and the ability to integrate it with other systems such as Home Assistant, but I also have the ability to control it independently with a physical remote control. The remote supports on/off, night, dim/brighten, and 4 preset buttons to quickly jump to any pre-programmed WLED setting. The instructions walk you through the preset setup and pairing process with a WLED controller. I am very happy with this remote and highly recommend it.

I own a lot of GLEDOPTO products, both WLED and Zigbee. I don’t believe I’ve ever been disappointed in any of them, they make pretty good products at competitive prices.This WLED remote is no different.This remote is based on the Espressif Systems ESP-WROOM-02D WiFi module.The module is attached to the PCB which has the 9 buttons on the other side and the top part of the battery terminals.The remote isn’t exactly large, but is not super compact either. But it is acceptable in my opinion, especially because it uses 2 AAA batteries, which I prefer over smaller coin cell batteries.For a comparison it’s just a little bit bigger overall than a FireTV remote.I was able to pair it via ESP NOW to ESP8266 and ESP32 WLED controllers, separately or together as group, all without issue.All the button functions work well and as expected.This is my first time using ESP NOW and the remote works well enough.However, I’ve found the button presses to response and consistency to be less than desired.My experiences so far have been that in order for the controller to respond sometimes the buttons need a long-ish (0.5-1 second) press hold or it also may only react after button release.The blue activation light at the top of the remote will turn on if you quick press a button, but this doesn’t always give the expected response.This is in an open room, paired with a GLEDOPTO ESP32 WLED controller about 5ft away.Overall the remote works and can be very useful in some cases, it’s reasonably priced at $14, but also has a 10% discount right now.Recommend getting it at the best price you can.

Glad there are products being made to integrate with WLED. Have a bunch of WLED run devices around the house. Having a remote handy versus pulling out my phone is nice just to turn on or set to a preset real quick. Instructions included are simple and straight forward as long as your device is running the correct firmware. If you have WLED devices would highly recommend grabbing one of these just to have on hand. Been using mine for outdoor lights i have. Still need phone for more complicated things but basic on/off, brightness and scene swap is nice.

This controller pairs very easily to a WLED controller, and it's dead simple to set up preset scenes that can be activated with the scene buttons. WLED is great, but it can be annoying to take out the phone and open the app every time you want to change scenes, brightness, etc. This controller makes it easy!

This wifi remote works flawless! The instructions are perfect, and easily get's you connected to your WLED controller. I love that it works over wifi because my home coverage is great which means this remote coverage is great! Super quick to enroll, and you can customize all the buttons. I created presets in WLED, and mapped them to the buttons on the remote! DONE. It's that easy. The best WLED remote that I've ever used. Super happy with this.
