Ordered this for dispensing cream/milk for coffee. Didn't work as expected. You can't achieve a controlled pour; the auto-open "valve" only opens when the carafe just about upside-down which causing the contents to "dump" out. (I like cream in my coffee, just not THAT much cream.)

This glass bottle is very nice looking. The glass is a nice thickness and I think it should last. It is easy to use but cleaning is a little difficult due to the size and shape. It doesn't fit in the dishwasher well.

Carafe looks really nice and is a great size. However, the glass is very thin I'm afraid of it breaking. When we're done with it, I wrap it back up and stored in the box it came in. I'm going to order a better one because the durability is packing and It would be nice to be able to put it in the fridge. Not a good value for the money.

I bought to work for carrying ice back from the machines with filtered water, ideal for tea, water or your favorite juice. Handle is petite probably not ideal for dishwasher. I hand wash with brush and mainly use at my desk as water dispenser.

I've been using this for about 6 months now, making roughly 3 pitchers of tea a day & it's still going strong. I've knocked mason jars against it, dropped it in the sink & washed it in the dishwasher plenty of times with no chips or scratches. Reviewers who are saying that it broke quickly are most likely putting hot water into a cold pitcher.
