This is a nice little nativity set, reminiscent of what my family had back in the 1980s. It’s not the nicest or fanciest, but it’s right for the price and provides a nice dose of nostalgia.

Shipping was slow but did arrive before Christmas. It had 3 figures broken on arrival. A replacement set was shipped for an exchange with no issues or fuss.

The only thing I could tolerate about this set was the manger. At least it didn’t fall apart when I took it out of the box. The styrofoam is the worst I’ve ever seen. It crumbles if you breathe on it. What a mess to clean up. And it doesn’t protect the pieces. Joseph had no head. The Angel had a clipped wing and one of the wise men was handless. The paint job was bad. And the poor Angel looked like the side of her face had been smashed in. The pieces are small but I knew that going in. It’s going back.

I was skeptical about this since the photo on the site shows two obvious staples in a pole on the left but the one I received does not have them. This stable and figurines are just gorgeous and detailed and even the baby is very detailed and well done....it is a gift but I have to repackage it since it was all stuck tight in styrofoam and I wanted to be sure all was in perfect condition before giving it to someone, and so I took the figurines out of their slots and then the stable out, what a mess with styrofoam. But safe packaging I suppose. The description says there is a certain number of figurines but you count them in the picture and in person and there is one less.....maybe they think the stable is a figurine??
