The wound G is very thin and broke in the case over night. They were nice sounding on my Godin but I only played it two times before it broke. Disappointed.

These strings perform better than I could have ever expected. Absolutely live the wound 3rd, I'm not why it took so long to do that. I couldn't be more pleased, we finger pickers must always stick together.

Since I play some bluegrass and country,along with jazz, on my classical guitar I prefer having a wound G. I am enjoying these strings and will continue playing with them for a while.
