These elbow protectors are incredibly well made. They're sleek, and have minimal branding which I personally appreciate. The grip material on the inside seems adequate to the job. The fabric itself seems fairly durable and extremely comfortable. The protection level I have doubts about. Maybe I just had unrealistic expectations, but the inserts felt very hard and thin to me. I was expecting something that had some squish to it under normal conditions and only hardened when sudden impacts occurred (much like previous armor I've used). Thin is good to a point, but there needs to be at least a little bit of "give" for cushioning and I personally felt like this insert missed the mark. The inserts, and the protector as a whole, were flexible enough to allow freedom of movement. I also appreciated that the inserts were removable for washing or replacement. The forearm section fit me perfectly and was exceedingly comfortable. The elbow section felt good despite my concerns over the armor insert itself. I had trouble with the upper arm portion however. My bicep measurement IS within the stated range but unfortunately I have a fair bit of flab in the upper arm from years of yoyo dieting. The fabric portion was fine, comfortable even. The top band, however, is less stretchy and this is where it just didn't quite work for me. I can understand why they made it this way, for better grip... But on me it was too constricting and caused the top band to roll down thus making it feel even tighter and rendering the grippy material useless as it now faced outward. I think those with upper arms that AREN'T flabby would be just fine... Sadly that isn't me.Bottomline...If you are looking for lightweight protection with firm armor, AND have firm non-flabby arms... Then these might be your product. They are somewhat pricey, but beautifully made.

First set was to small. I measured as medium incorrectly. Then purchased XL and L just in case. CL was best fit. Works great. Stays put.Best part is I haven’t fallen since.

Size is actually smaller than Label making it Unfit and Difficult to put on.

You don't need to read any further, just buy these pads!Seriously, they're the only pads I use on my bike and for good reason; they stay in place on the gnarliest descents, they're lightweight, and they don't constrict movement. I've had pads in the past that did at least one of those things but these G-Form pads are the first that perform in all 3 of those areas. Best pads I've ever used, hands down. Other than that, all you need to know is they fit true to size so follow the size chart verbatim.

Overall I really like these, I have the size medium and they fit well and match the size chart. They are quite expensive for what they are, probably about 20% more than equivalent pads at the bike shop so you have to be sure that this is what you want. The only negative that I see is the relatively high price, here are some of the things that I like:They stay in place. I hate pads that fall down over the course of the ride, these have a wide sticky silicone part at the top that holds onto my bicep and keeps the pads in place. My previous pads from TLD would always slide down my chicken arms when hitting the descents, not these.Durability. The material is pretty tough and much thicker than the thin kneed pads that I was wearing before. I have not crashed in these yet but they seem like they should be just as good as most versions you find at the bike shop.Comfort. I typically pedal up the mountain for about an hour and a half before descending and I want something that is fine to wear up and down, I didn't want to stop at the top and put them on because soon enough I would just not do it and get hurt. These are stiff for the first 10 minutes on the bike but then are pretty comfortable. The cutout in the middle of the elbow does help a little bit to eliminate pinching and keep you a little cooler at the same time. The best pads out there are the ones that you will wear all the time because you never know when the next crash is going to happen. I think that these are comfortable enough to wear on every ride, you just have to be able to afford them!

I really like these pads. These have been a great transition from hard pads over to a move lighter, movable pad. That being said, I feel like, if I had gotten these a year ago I probably wouldn't wear them as a starting pad. They are light and do not have a hard shell to them, so, although they handle impact well and disperse the energy really well from the impact point, you will still feel the impact if it was hard enough. Now that I know how to better handle myself falling and positioning my body for impacts, these pads have become really helpful in that process for me. It definitely opens up my mobility as I am at the park or enjoying some street sessions. I love their shape and how they extend into the forearms. It helps keep road rash from happening without feeling the clutter of hard pads.I like these a lot. The pad itself is pretty cool and you can tell it works well at spreading the impact throughout the pad itself. They are really well made and for me, comfortable. I have worn these pads all day and it got to a point where I didn't even notice them anymore, in the good way.Highly, and I mean Highly Recommended!
