The tie is nice but the stripes are more like a bronze, not a gold or yellow (not at all like the photo). Think tan or brown. I bought it as a gift. I would have returned if I had ordered early enough.

Very nice tie. The stripes are gold not yellow as shown in the pictures, but it actually makes better looking.

The tie is in plastic and looks good. This is a Christmas gift for a friend who is a stock broker, I think it looks nice enough for him to wear in front of clients unless they happen to be University of Georgia fans. I am not responsible for that problem.
