Don’t buy aftermarket transmission sump filters, I did and it didn’t come with a proper seal, had gear slipping issues for months before realizing it was the new cheap filter I put in. Bought this Mopar filter and problems were resolved.

My filter had the AB suffix at the end of it and NOT AE. There was a common problem with AB not running the fluid as fast as it should which led to shifting issues. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!

This worked for my 2012 Ram 1500 2wd when I installed an extra capacity transmission pan from PML. It was factory Mopar and made in the USA. Every aftermarket filter was made in China and (from what I have read) inferior in quality to the OEM part here.

Exact replacement for the one in my Laramie Longhorn and the 68RFE transmission.... BTW some 2WD require this filter... Check the application charts.
