Installed this on a 2008 Honda Odyssey EXL due to a leak in the original piece. The hardest part was getting the old one out, which I ended up just cutting off the metal tube at the connection and use a socket to remove the old one. I was surprised how much force it took to remove the old one, and the new one was no picnic putting back in either.

Since the installation wasn't going to be easy (the minivan had to be jacked up as high as possible to get easier access), I decided to pay quite a bit more to get an OEM one. Read reviews of other generic brand ones and most of them mentioned leaking either right off the bat or days or weeks later. Well, it works like new now with the steering wheel much easier to turn than even when it wasn't leaking before. It has been over a month and there are no issues. I guess go with the OEM if you want to minimize the chance of redoing it.

Although I was surprised that the Honda Odyssey PS pressure hose failed after 10 years, I see why now. The OEM hose is not the most robust design. That said, its a common problem on aging Odysseys and it needs to be done if they leak (Im pretty sure the leaking fluid took out my alternator and PS fluid can be a fire hazard). Highly recommend buying the OEM vs a cheaper aftermarket option because the 2 mounts are the most difficult things to reach and the holes are blind or difficult to see. It comes with a new o-ring on the pump end and screws into the steering rack. Remove and replace from the bottom of the vehicle (helps to have a helper grab it from the top as you feed the new one up behind the back of the engine from the bottom). The job took me about 2 hours to remove the old and replace with the new. All I needed to do was add a pint of fluid at the end.
