At first I felt the price for 10 vacuum bags was pretty steep, but I didn't expect them to be so durable and be able to hold so much. I have several GV vacuums, and they get used a ton. I mean there really isn't any way these could be improved, I guess a slightly lower price point, but about $2.50 per bag isn't too bad, especially for the high quality. Great Vacs also has some of the best customer service that I've EVER experienced! They truly stand behind their products, and make things right if there is ever any issues! I will continue buying their products for as long as they are around!

I really like my GV vacuum. I use it multiple times a week for my home and businesses that I clean and it has very good suction and is easy to use. The only improvement I would make is for it to have a larger bag capacity, but I did buy it knowing it had a smaller capacity because I wanted a lighter vacuum. The bags hold in even the finest dust particles, which is awesome! There have been times that construction dust has blocked the bag and I lose suction, forcing me to change the bag prematurely and sort of wasting a bag, but that also means that the fine sheet rock dust stayed in the bag rather than being blown around.

The vacuum picks up all dust, small grains of sand and bird seed nestled in the grout line of saltillo tile in Santa Fe without using a crevice attachment. The motor is very quiet. The filters do a very good job, and there is no particulate discharge from the exhaust end of the vacuum at start-up, unlike my middle-of-the-line name-brand upright. There are 2 layers of filters before the HEPA filter. The first filter is a throwaway, like a normal canister and that fits in a fabric filter that can be washed. The line up of filters come out easily and have gasketed connections to prevent bypass. The flex tubing is larger than other residential vacuums and the connection to the vac is sturdy and airtight, and the extendable wand is chromed steel and has a high-quality feel to it, not plastic and not cheap. The air-powered rotating brushes are adequate (dog and cat hair is just hard to pick up), and as good or better at animal hair as any other vacuum I have used. All the vacuum connections provide secure fits. Even a wide attachment has the vacuum strength to begin picking up a medium-weight area rug. Did I say it was quiet?

Bags last a long time and are easy to remove and replace. They filter even the finest dust which is good for me as I have dust allergies.

The bag and vacuum both still work great. The shipping and handling price is a little steep if you ask me so I can't give it 5 stars
