It's a gasket. It's the correct one for the 4.2 i6 Atlas motor in my Trailblazer. It was delivered on time and wasn't all bent up. It was 1/3 of the price my local dealer wanted and about 8 bucks cheaper than any of my local parts stores which would have had to order it anyways for a longer wait than Amazon. Got my ride back up and running!

I did not even intend on replacing this part in the first place. As I was troubleshooting the reasons I was tripping the engine light with my emissions code I kept throwing I slowly worked my way down the list of problems. In the end, it was necessary to replace this spacer to fix my original problem, but the original one was not in the best shape so it was good to swap them out for more prophylactic purposes. This item cam very fast, as described, and has now been installed for at least 2 years and is holding up very well. It took no more than a few minutes to actually replace this part. It should last me several more years.

This gasket works perfectly with the air check valve (ACDelco 214-2222) that I used it with. I have not worked with gaskets before, but I thought this gasket is pretty thick, at approx 1/16 of an inch, and seemed to work well. There is nothing special about these things except for the fit, and this one fits. (Thanks to Amazon's website for showing compatible accessories for designated vehicles!)

I bought this for my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer and it works well. It did the job it was intended to do and that's all I can really say about it. Price was ok also.
