I’m not sure where this went wrong. Manufacturers QC or an Amazon return that wasn’t throughly inspected once received. This is huuuge compared to the one for my whittle Trax. This is for a Tundra or something much bigger then my car.The part is new, as there is oil/lube of some kind for the spring mechanism inside.I don’t want to leave a lowest stars available because I’m not sure who deserves the star.

The interchange on Amazons “check part fit” claims it will not work for a Toyota corolla 10th generation. But this is a TOYOTA PART. Has a Toyota logo and part number on the back and comes in a Gm package. Toyota corolla / Pontiac Vibe / Toyota Matrix are all the same switch. And it works. Fits right into the factory clips, plugs directly into the factory wiring connector and works flawlessly. Identical to the original unit I removed. Make sure to remove your radio and the hidden screws on the sides of the radio to get the climate board out of the dash . The switch pushes out from the back. Took maybe 15 minutes to replace. Good quality and fixed out issue of no working heater fan!

This product has certainly fixed my issue of the dash fan staying on full power but it has only been installed for a month. Really the only thing negative I could say is while driving at night, the light coloring inside the switch does not match the other two switches from day of vehicle purchase.
