PLEASE ATTENTION :
240~33 ohm sensors can only be applied to 240~33 ohm fuel gauge.
To allow the sender not hit the bottom of the tank, the length of sender should be 1" less than the depth of the tank if tank is plastic, and 0.5" less than the depth of the tank if tank is metal.

Bought the 12" unit for my boat. It worked well when installed but now 6 months later the float does not float. :(

I tried this for the first time with an old car restore. Had a very tight spot and was able to use without fuel tank removal. Using SW gage with the same ohm specs. So far works great.Used another with an Auto Meter gage. Worked even better. Much faster response.Hope it lasts. Of note, measure carefully.Only downside, leads for hookup are not ideal for my applications and the metric screws are a useless waste.The gasket is sized for older US vehicles so why metric? Dumb.

This product doesn't work. It jumps from full to 3/4 to 1/2 and so on. Doesn't give a steady reading! Complete rubbish, and can't contact the company who sold it, as it was through amazon and passed the returns date.

Super easy to install. You can select the color by tapping that wire to ground them it sticks every power up. Looks nice. Accurate enough for a pontoon.

I installed this sender on my 1990 Sea Ray 180 with 24 gallon tank. The fuel gauge indicated in increments not smooth like a float type sender however, my sender was only 6" long though that may have some bearing on the display indication. Otherwise it seemed to be a quality piece and installed easily. The wires were not marked for + or - but I don't think it matters. Also, I noted that the Ohms range was 34 to 140 Ohms indicated on my VOM meter but the gauge responded accurately. I would recommend it to other boat owners.
