Electric Fuel Pump

3-Layer Thickened Fuel Line

Installed easy on my boat but only lasted one fishing trip for 4 hrs than stopped working altogether. It runs but does not pump anything. Don’t buy

I am using this pump to transfer gasoline from a boat tank in the bed of my truck into the main fuel tank to increase my range between fuel stops. It works great for this task and transfers about 0.3 gallons per minute through the 5/16" fuel hose provided in the kit. The kit is a great buy, you couldn't buy the hose, clamps and filter at the parts store for the price so you get the pump for free. The pump draws 1.6-1.8 amps in my application.

Installed on a buddies f150 ranger 1987 ? He busted one fuel tank and the second one was good but the tank selector and or metal fuel lines were bad so ran straight fuel line rubber to the tank pump and carb, works great, toggle switch to turn it on

The quality isn't really good

I needed to empty the tank in my boat. I hooked up my hoses, made sure the hose clamps were tight, but a 5 gallon gas can on the ground and had the pump about 6 inches above the tank. Sadly, the pump couldn't pull a prime and overheated in about 5 minutes. After is cooled, I installed a hand squeezed bulb pump to prime the system. The pump ran great for about 10 minutes and then started leaking. I thought maybe the hose clamps weren't tight enough, but upon closer inspection it was leaking around the seal. It appears to us pressure from the pressed case to make the seal. If I weren't watching the pump, I could have had gas all over the deck of my boat and in the bilge. This could have caused a catastrophic fire destroying my boat, engine, electronics, and maybe my house. $20 pump could have cost me several hundred thousand dollars. Don't buy. It's not worth risking your life.

I bought two of these within a month of each other, I wasn't sure how the quality was going to be but really the only complaint I have is that the fuel line is the cheapest part of the whole set up, and they really aren't that terrible. I wouldn't use it for a permanent set up, as I just went to the auto parts store and bought some much better quality line for less than two bucks a foot, but if you need a pump that'll work right away and some line that'll fit with it till you can get something better this is a great little package.It really pulls regular petrol/gasoline nice and fast, had to drain the tank from a Plymouth I was working on and this beat thee way I thought I'd have to at first.

I used it to pump old gas out of my internal boat tank. I didn't use the boat since 2019 due to Covid. I just hooked this up to a line between my water separator filter and the motor - turned it on and it started pumping gas. Fast, easy, and reusable. I stored it for use again this fall. Nice product that works good.
