Love this wrench. I bought this wrench to had to my already owned serpentine set. Great tool, saved me a lot of stress , replacing the tensioner ,idler, and a/c compressor. It gives you many needed positions on the tool that you need to work in tight spots, that a regular ratchet can't .

Using this product for a serpentine belt and tensioner replacement on a 2010 Camry. This Camry model has two tensioners and two belts. Got the straight version of this tool with the kit I bought from gear wrench and found I could get the flex head on sale as well. I’ll go out on a limb here and say it is nigh unto impossible to do this job without this tool. I firmly believe that Gear Wrench makes the best version of this tool.

The GearWrench serpentine belt tool kit is very useful and this flex-head ratcheting wrench is a solid upgrade. I think it's clearly worth $30 for the easier access. As a bonus, it fits into the space for the non-flex wrench in the molded case.

The box end may be 7/8 but the ratcheting end most definitely is not!

The wrench is nicely polished and specs out accurately. But there is no size engraved on the wrench. I mean who doesn't stamp 7/8 on a 7/8 wrench. I'm going to have to take the time to engrave it myself. Also the hinged head side of the wrench only folds to 45 degrees in either direction. Better wrenches fold to 90 degrees or more. It will not be a problem for the purpose I have for it, but it is a limiting factor. The price point is good, but the wrench is less than good. Caveat emptor.

I bought this tool only in order to add to my serpentine belt tool kit from gearwench that I had purchased. after buying the kit I came across this part number and thought it would be a good buy it because it seemed like something that would get used. Unfortunately I haven't used it much other than a couple times. Most of the cars I have been working on are so tight between the engine and the body I can't even fit the serpentine belt tools in anyway and am almost forced to use a regular wrench. Or the open end pieces included in the kit. I can only say that using this tool gives you a lot of options if you have a vehicle that has a bad angle or something wierd like that and for 25 bucks I'd say it's worth it.
