On Oct. 2, 2017; I installed this kit on my 2002 Trooper. The metal gasket that came with the kit is of very poor design and quality. 3 weeks later, I had to replace the gasket. This time I used a FelPro. Now at 14 months and 7,367 miles the pump is leaking at the weep hole! I will have to replace the pump and it is very labor intense!

First of all. This product fit perfectly. Installed as the instructions stated. This is on my 2002 Isuzu axiom with the 3.5 litre engine. A couple of things to note. My vehicle had 173000 miles on it and this is the first time I have performed this maintenance on this vehicle. I was shocked to see that the timing belt on the vehicle was still in really good shape and the water pump was also perfectly fine. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is due to my doubting that this is as good a quality as the original Aisin water pump that the vehicle came with. I can't prove that, but my gut says not as good. But then again it is at a great price. This was a time consuming project but not difficult at all. Just have to remember where everything goes and take your time. It was a full days for me but I did a transmission fluid change at the same time. Since I had the fluid lines off anyway.

I give this product 5 stars because it was exactly what I needed and at a price I wanted to pay. I have used the Gates timing belt kits on other applications and they are exact fit OEM style parts. This kit went on my 2000 Isuzu Trooper with no problems. Great product, great price from Amazon.
