I have to admit, I don't really have much depth in my ability to subjectively review keyswitches. It's simple for me- the heavier, louder, and click-ier the switch, the happier I am. Only in the last few years did I retire my Model M after nearly 35 years of use, and I just can't get behind linear switches. There are a few tactile switches that are nice, and most clicky switches are just too light for my taste. That said, these are very well constructed. The frosted base is great for diffusing backlighting. These have a nice "deep" tactile point, and it seems to be very consistent between switches. They are all buttery smooth, and have a great medium volume, "bright" tone. Not my first choice (obviously), but these are high-quality switches that will be perfect for the heavy tactile enthusiasts.

Before this, I had the Kailh Speed Coppers with a 40g operating force. I was concerned that these would be too tiring with 59g operating force. However, these feel incredible. They're lighter than I expected and have a delightful spring. The sound is perfect on my GMMK Pro and 8Bitdo numberpad. Highly recommended.

The Gateron Baby Kangaroo 2.0 is a 5-pin tactile switch with a heavy actuation. I got the 10 pack specifically to use for certain keys on my keyboard such as the escape, delete, home, and arrow keys. The sound profile will depend on your setup, but they did exhibit a medium loudness to them on my keyboard. Value wise, these are on the premium side, but they are pre-lubed and have a precise tactile feel.

The tactile bump on these is absolutely perfect, as is the spring weight. However, with my set I noticed there's a pretty substantial inconsistency with the scratchiness and ping. Beats the browns any day of the week, but I think I still prefer the MMD Princess Tactile over these.

I can say wholeheartedly that the Gateron Baby Kangaroos are my favorite tactile switch. This switch has a nice short tactile bump right at the top of the stroke, and an early bottom out, due to the switches' long pole stem, which is exactly what I personally look for in a tactile switch. The sound profile is bright and clacky, thanks again to the long pole stem, and the polycarbonate top housing. The factory lube job on these switches is good, but you can hear some spring ping (only) if you hold it up to your ear. Overall these are a solid choice for a tactile switch, although a bit on the expensive side.

These switches are absolutely perfect, as far as I can tell. Personally, I prefer tactile and clicky switches, and do not much like linear types of switches. The Baby Kangaroo switches seem to offer a sort of middleground between all three types of switches. The tactile response is very pleasing, and the sound is nice although on some keyboards it can be a bit loud.At the moment these are my favorite switches (having used browns, reds, blacks, silver, blue, and greens) and have them installed in two builds currently. At first I was not a fan of them, but man oh man these are great switches and I wonder if anything else out there exists that is better than these.
